So what started out as being the ‘longest stage in Absa Cape Epic history’ is now not. Today’s route was cut short by a couple of kilometres, down from 147 to 143. Doesn’t sound like much, but the difference a shortening of 5 kays makes to a day of biting the handlebar is huge. Continue reading
